About the job Senior Program Manager

The Program Manager will enable efficient and effective program execution for the Womens related project involving women's participation in paid work, retention, and growth in the automotive sector through a holistic approach focused on conducting diagnostic research, designing solutions, evaluating interventions, and disseminating the results at scale.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years of work as a management consultant or client-facing role.
  • Experience in large corporate environments or handling corporate partners.
  • Social impact and/or automotive sector and/or funder management experience is a plus.
  • Significant experience with project management - managing timelines, processes, and teams of 4+ resources.
  • Strong communication skills - written and verbal - and a high degree of comfort presenting to internal and external audiences.
  • Highly organized and capable of keeping multiple processes running at once.
  • Deep understanding of budgets and tracking spend to target over an extended period of time.
  • Amiable and poised leader who maintains high standards of professionalism for the project team and with external stakeholders.


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Program Planning & Scoping

1) Manage overall program scope, including timelines, deliverables,

budgets and progress reports.

2) Assign Oversee tasks and responsibilities to different workstream leads

based on the scope and project plan.

3) Ensure internal reviews and quality control of all project materials

(presentations, reports, notes, among others) prior to final presentations

and submissions.

4) Monitor progress against key goals and maintain team focus on

activities that drive highest priority program requirements

5) Identify, assess, and manage risks associated with the project

6) Foster a culture of innovation and agility to meet project goals

7) Maintain a commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and promote

appropriate protocols, processes towards the project.

  • Resource planning

1) Work with the program, operations teams and discipline heads to plan

resources, adjust allocations, and ensure adequate staffing.

2) Manage program financials, including hours allocations, outlays, and

projections, in partnership with finance.

  • Stakeholder Management

1) Facilitate all high-level internal and external meetings, including

scheduling, agenda setting, documenting and synthesizing discussions,

pursuing follow-ups

2) Assist the project team with preparation for any presentations

Manage and mitigate any crisis (internal or external).

  • Communications

1) Ensure that all involved parties are up-to-speed in the current state of

work and upcoming milestones.

2) Managing stakeholder relationships and communications, collaborating

with partnerships manager

3) Oversee external communications about the project on social media,

relevant website(s), events (organized by the company and partners). Represent the company at relevant external forums for the program.
