About the job Sr. Operations Manager

As the Head of Operations for the school, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and leading the operational foundation of our new school. You will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless collaboration between various departments, and contributing to the realization of our educational vision.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Project Management and Execution

-Develop and implement strategic operational plans in alignment with the school's mission, goals, and values.

-Collaborate with academic leadership to enhance program development as per the agreed timeline.

-Lead planning and implementation of substantial improvements to operational functions, including facilities, transportation, food services, payables, purchasing, payroll, and budget

-Develop and refine operational policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.

-Drive technological integration to support administrative functions and enhance overall school operations. Contribute to the marketing and admissions efforts to attract and retain a diverse student body.

-Implement data-driven decision-making processes to continually enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

2. Stakeholder Management

-Point of contact with Cambridge Global system and local education department; help to maintain documentation and student records as per the law.

-Establish and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including parents, regulatory bodies, and community partners.

Undertake administrative tasks, along with support staff, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.

3. Uphold Vision of Excellence

-Collaborate with academic staff to support educational initiatives and engage in professional development to stay informed on best practices.

-Develop and maintain data systems for tracking key metrics, analyze data to identify trends, and provide actionable insights for decision-making.

-Implement continuous improvement practices, driving operational enhancements and ensuring alignment with educational goals.

-Oversee resource management, ensuring efficient use of facilities and supplies while maintaining compliance with regulations.

-Model and uphold ethical standards, professionalism, and a commitment to lifelong learning for students, staff, and the school community.

4. Financial Management and Reporting

Manage budgetary planning, financial forecasting, balance sheet, and resource allocation to ensure efficient utilization.

5. Strategy

-Design and adjust multi-year financial plan for growth and stability

-Draft annual budget with ED

-Propose an organizational budget for operations, salaries, technology, and various parts of the academic program

-Set spending priorities and allocate funds between teams approve team budgets

6. Expenses

-Collect and maintain invoices, receipts, and other documents in compliance with internal financial management policies

7. Grants

Fulfill reporting requirements for grants received

Qualifications:

-Master's degree in Business Administration, Education, or a related field.

-Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in education administration, preferably in establishing and operationalizing new institutions.

-Proven track record of effective team leadership, strategic planning, and change management.

-Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management.

-Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.

-Knowledge of current educational trends, pedagogical approaches, and regulatory requirements.
