About the job HR Manager - TA, India

Role Summary:

Our client partner is seeking an HR Manager – Talent Acquisition to drive their rapid scale-up in India. This role is the "engine" of the organization's growth, responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of attracting, hiring, and fully onboarding high-performing sales and field teams in the Pharma/Healthcare sector.

As the primary architect of the "front-end" employee experience, you will build a scalable recruitment machine that ensures every new joiner in India is culturally aligned, operationally ready, and mission-driven from day one.

Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Talent Acquisition (India Focus):
  • Own the full recruitment lifecycle for the India market, focusing on scaling sales and field operations in Mumbai.
  • Target, headhunt, and convert sales representatives and field leads specifically within the Pharma or Healthcare sectors.
  • Partner with the India Head and Chief Access Officer to build a sustainable talent pipeline for rapid expansion.
  • Standardize recruitment workflows to ensure compliance with local labor practices and global brand standards.
2. End-to-End Onboarding & Integration:
  • Manage all administrative onboarding, including contract generation, background checks, and documentation in coordination with Finance.
  • Act as the 90-day guide for new hires, ensuring they are integrated into the company's tools, culture, and social impact goals.
  • Monitor early-stage engagement metrics to ensure successful long-term retention.
3. Employer Branding & Storytelling:
  • Lead recruitment campaigns that highlight the organization's mission and social impact to attract "mission-first" talent.
  • Strengthen the employer brand in India through active storytelling and a consistent LinkedIn presence.
  • Maintain recruitment tools and ATS systems to ensure a transparent, data-driven candidate experience.

Requirements:

  • 5–8 years of progressive recruitment experience, with a proven track record of directly managing the hiring of sales reps in Indian Pharma/Healthcare.
  • Expertise in managing the onboarding process, including contract management and cultural orientation.
  • Proven ability to headhunt talent through networks and active searching rather than relying on agencies.
  • Confident engaging with field-level staff and global CXO leadership alike.
  • A "roll-up-your-sleeves" attitude ready for a high-intensity, scale-up environment.
