1. CSR Fundraising & Pipeline Development
- Identify, research, and approach corporate CSR programs, foundations, and HNI networks aligned with healthcare, women's health, rural development, and digital innovation.
- Map CSR trends, allocation patterns, and budget cycles across India's top 200 corporates and key mid-market companies.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of a minimum of 30 CSR prospects at various stages of engagement, targeting an annual CSR fundraising target of 5 crore.
- Conduct competitive analysis to understand funder priorities, geographic preferences, impact metrics, and co-funding opportunities.
2. Partnership Development & Relationship Management
- Build authentic, long-term relationships with CSR heads, CXOs, sustainability officers, and decision-makers across corporate, family office, and philanthropic ecosystems.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all CSR and major donor partnerships, ensuring responsiveness, transparency, and alignment with organisational goals.
- Conduct quarterly stakeholder reviews, gather feedback, and address partner concerns proactively to foster repeat funding and increased commitments.
- Maintain a CRM database (HubSpot or similar) with complete prospect profiles, interaction history, funding status, and next steps.
3. Proposal Development & Strategic Pitching
- Craft compelling, data-driven CSR proposals and grant applications tailored to each funder's priorities, geography focus, and impact metrics.
- Align proposals with Companies Act Schedule VII compliance (CSR rules, CSR-1 registration requirements) and NITI Aayog's digital health roadmap.
- Lead or co-lead investor pitches, presentations, and site visits; adapt messaging for different stakeholder groups (corporate boards, foundations, HNI advisors).
- Develop case studies, impact briefs, and storytelling assets that showcase organisation's scale and innovation in digital health.
4. Donor Stewardship & Impact Communication
- Deliver timely, outcome-focused reports, impact dashboards, and updates to CSR partners quarterly or as required by partnership agreements.
- Coordinate with program and impact teams to ensure project execution aligns with donor expectations and CSR compliance timelines.
- Facilitate site visits, beneficiary engagement sessions, and impact documentation to strengthen donor confidence and emotional connection.
- Manage donor recognition initiatives and ensure compliance with CSR reporting deadlines and regulatory filings.
5. Marketing & Brand Elevation Collaboration
- Partner with marketing and communications teams to ensure organisation's digital health mission, scale, and innovation are prominently featured in:
- LinkedIn content and thought leadership articles.
- Website case studies and partnership spotlights.
- Annual impact reports and CSR-focused collateral.
- Support content creation for CSR funders (success stories, beneficiary testimonials, impact metrics) that differentiate the organisation from competitors.
- Collaborate on webinars, roundtables, and speaking opportunities at CSR forums and health tech summits to build organisational credibility.
6. Compliance, Systems & Analytics
- Ensure all CSR partnerships comply with India's Companies Act, 2013, NITI Aayog CSR-1 registration, and relevant tax regulations.
- Monitor CSR spending trends, funder preferences, and regulatory changes; adapt fundraising strategy accordingly.
- Generate monthly fundraising dashboards tracking pipeline value, conversion rates, partnership milestones, and annual targets.
- Maintain organised proposal tracking and archive for future reference and institutional learning.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
Experience & Education
- 8-10 years of progressive fundraising experience in India, with at least 5+ years dedicated to CSR fundraising from corporate sources.
- Bachelor's degree in business, development studies, nonprofit management, marketing, or related fields.
- Demonstrated success in raising 5 crore+ annually from CSR or institutional funders.
- Direct experience managing 10+ CSR partnerships simultaneously with strong relationship retention rates.
CSR & Donor Expertise
- Deep understanding of India's Companies Act 2013, CSR regulations (2% mandatory spending), CSR-1 registration, and NITI Aayog compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to map and engage corporate CSR ecosystems.
- Experience engaging ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNIs) and high-net-worth individuals (HNIs) for family philanthropy or impact giving.
- Knowledge of healthcare-focused CSR priorities and alignment with digital health innovation and gender equity initiatives.
Proposal & Communication Skills
- Excellent proposal writing and storytelling ability with a proven track record of securing significant grants.
- Strong presentation and pitching skills; able to distil complex digital health concepts for corporate decision-makers.
- Ability to craft compelling narratives that connect CSR funder priorities to 'the organisation's impact model and scalability.
Technical & CRM Proficiency
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in HubSpot (or similar CRM systems like Salesforce, Zoho) for donor management, pipeline tracking, and reporting.
- Strong skills in Excel, Google Sheets, and data visualisation for fundraising analytics and dashboards.
- Comfortable with WordPress, email marketing platforms like Mailchimp, and basic digital marketing analytics.
- Ability to learn and adopt new fundraising and management software quickly.
Organisational & Analytical Skills
- Excellent project management, multitasking, and time management to juggle 4050 prospects at various pipeline stages.
- Data-driven mindset: ability to track, analyse, and optimize fundraising metrics (conversion rate, average grant size, pipeline velocity).
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in compliance documentation, contracts, and reporting.
