About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Operations Associate to join our growing HR team at Arthan. The ideal candidate will bring 13 years of experience in HR operations, with strong skills in end to end recruitment, payroll, compliance, performance management, employee records and managementThis is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of people-centric processes and help shape a thriving workplace culture.

Note: Candidates who demonstrate strong performance during the 5-month consulting period particularly in turnaround time (TAT), operational efficiency, and successful role closures will be considered for full-time employment (FTE) 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Review resumes, conduct initial screenings, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers

  • Assist in evaluating candidates and drafting job offers

  • Support a smooth onboarding process, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate

  • Proactively source and shortlist candidates for open positions

  • Work closely with HR colleagues throughout the recruitment cycle and 

    keep the HR Manager updated on progress

2. Salary Administration

  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee compensation records

  • Respond to employee salary-related queries and provide timely resolutions

  • Share updates and issues with the HR Manager for timely interventions

3. Employee Records Management

  • Maintain and regularly update employee data in the HRIS

  • Keep a track of employee attendance and ensure timely updates in records

  • Conduct periodic audits and ensure compliance with data protection regulations

  • Collaborate with other HR team members to ensure consistency and

4. Reporting & Analysis

  • Generate regular reports related to payroll, compliance, and performance metrics

  • Support the HR team with insights and data-driven suggestions to improve processes

  • Keep the HR Manager informed with timely reports and relevant observations

5. Asset Coordination

  • Liaise with the Office Manager to ensure new hires receive necessary equipment (e.g., laptops)

  • Track and maintain onboarding-related asset records

6. Festivity Budgeting & Execution

  • Prepare budgets for office celebrations and present them to the HR Manager

  • Plan and execute approved festive activities in coordination with the Office Manager

  • Support internal communication and engagement around events

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate across HR, Finance, and department teams to align HR operations with organizational goals

  • Train new joinees on payroll and HR-related processes

  • Contribute to internal HR projects focused on process improvements and operational efficiency

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in HR operations

  • Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office Suite

  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving ability

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Annual Compensation:A competitive annual salary aligned with industry standards, commensurate with experience and qualifications, negotiable based on experience
