Our partner organization is looking for an experienced and driven HR Lead to anchor and strengthen the overall HR function, with a strong focus on Talent Acquisition, Organization Development, HR Operations, and people strategy. The role requires someone who can build systems, partner closely with leadership, and drive a strong people and culture agenda across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Lead and drive the organization's hiring strategy in alignment with business and programmatic priorities.
  • Build and strengthen sustainable sourcing channels and employer branding initiatives to attract high-quality talent.
  • Partner with leadership and departmental teams to understand workforce requirements and maintain hiring plans and recruitment trackers.
  • Design and implement employee referral and talent pipeline strategies.
  • Oversee recruitment processes end-to-end, including sourcing, screening, assessments, interviews, offer management, and onboarding.
  • Ensure a strong candidate and onboarding experience through structured inductions, check-ins, and engagement processes.
  • Manage relationships with recruitment partners and external agencies.
  • Build recruitment dashboards and provide regular updates and insights to leadership.

2. Organization Development & Employee Engagement

  • Lead the review and strengthening of HR policies, processes, employee handbooks, and people practices.
  • Drive organization development initiatives focused on culture building, employee engagement, retention, and performance.
  • Support and advise managers on employee relations, conflict resolution, and people management practices.
  • Identify learning and development needs and support the design and implementation of capability-building initiatives.
  • Lead employee engagement interventions, team-building initiatives, and culture-building activities across the organization.
  • Drive diversity, inclusion, and employee wellbeing initiatives.

3. HR Operations & Team Management

  • Oversee key HR operations including onboarding, documentation, employee lifecycle management, and compliance-related processes.
  • Support and strengthen performance management and appraisal systems.
  • Ensure HR systems, trackers, and documentation are maintained efficiently and accurately.
  • Collaborate closely with leadership on strategic HR priorities and organizational planning.
  • Mentor and guide junior HR team members where applicable.

Who You Are

  • You have 10 years of experience across HR functions, including talent acquisition, HR business partnering, organization development, or HR operations.
  • You bring strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • You are comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving, and mission-driven environments.
  • You have experience building HR systems and processes with a people-centric approach.
  • Familiarity with the nonprofit, social impact, or development sector is preferred.
