Organisation: Arthan | Social Sector | Duration: 6 months | Location: New Delhi, with a hybrid working arrangement | Stipend: 8,000-12,000 (varies based on skills and experience)
About Arthan: Arthan is a social enterprise dedicated to strengthening the social impact sector through capacity building and consulting support in the areas of: Human Capital, Organisational Development and Thought Leadership. Through its inception, Arthan has collaborated with over 1,500 leading social impact organisations, connected with more than 500,000 job seekers, and organised over 100 forums that attracted 1,000+ social leaders and over 20,000 participants.
Role Overview This is a paid internship. You will support Arthan's communications function by creating sharp, on-brand visual collaterals and assisting with end-to-end execution of Arthan's large-scale Annual Convening in December 2026
Key Responsibilities
Design and Collateral Production
Design social media posts, reels, banners, presentations, reports, brochures, and emailers
Create event branding assets including backdrops, stage visuals, signage, and name badges
Maintain visual consistency across all materials in line with Arthan's brand guidelines
Iterate quickly on feedback and manage multiple design requests simultaneously
Conference and Event Support
Support pre-event communications- invites, speaker kits, agenda documents, and registration assets
Assist with live coverage - real-time social media posts
Coordinate with the photography team and visual documentation on event days
Produce post-event collaterals including highlights decks and summary reports
Content and Social Media
Contribute designed posts and copy for LinkedIn, Instagram, and other platforms
Support drafting of newsletters, event recaps, and stakeholder communications
Assist in maintaining and executing the content calendar
Who We are Looking For - Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Design, Mass Communication, Media, or a related field. Proficiency in Canva is essential. Familiarity with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools will be an added advantage. Basic video editing skills are highly desirable. Strong aesthetic sense with an eye for detail and clean layouts. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight event deadlines. Good written communication in English. Proactive, dependable, and a team player.
Working Arrangement
This internship offers a flexible working model. Interns are expected to work 15 hours per week between July and August 2026, with at least two days of in-person engagement from our Delhi office each week. As preparations for Arthan's Annual Convening intensify, the expected time commitment will gradually increase from September onwards to around 25–30 hours a week, with 3 days in office. We'll discuss and agree on the revised schedule with the selected candidate in advance, and there's room to work this out flexibly.
