Construction Manager ( Civil Infrastructure _ Viaduct Project )

Responsibilities:

• Well-versed in Construction Method Statements
• Manage Piling, Excavation, ERSS, RC, and Architecture work
• Preparing the site and liaising with other construction professionals before construction work starts
• Developing the program of work and strategy for making the project happen
• Planning ahead to prevent problems on site before they occur, planning the delivery and storage of equipment and materials
• Making safety inspections of the site when work is underway and ensuring regulations relating to health, safety, and the environment are adhered to
• Ensure progress of work is within budget & timelines as well as quality & safety objectives
• Control and monitor work progress and resources
• Lead a team of technical staff in daily operations

Requirements

• Recognized Degree by PE board in Civil Engineering, with a minimum of 10 years experience in the Construction industry and 5 year working on LTA projects such as Road, Bridge and Viaduct Projects
• Comprehensive understanding of the contract documents (drawings and specifications), phasing plans, construction sequencing and project schedule
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills
• Team player with good communication skills
• Meticulous and attentive to details
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English and Mandarin
• Able to prepare reports in Chinese according to standards in China for reporting to HQ in China. ( Chinese Main Contractor )
