Lifting Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that day-to-day lifting operations are monitored as per safety rules
• Plan, organize, supervise and liaise closely with sub-contractors and operation teams on all ongoing lifting activities.
• Perform routine on-site checks and inspections to ensure compliance with authorities' requirements.
• Address concerns with regard to the safety of any lifting operations
• Provide reports to the construction team regularly
• Liaise closely with the HSE team to ensure operations comply with safety standards
• Overall in charge of preparing lifting and erection plans for all the Gantry Cranes.
• Prepare, develop and review Lifting plans, Method statements, Risk assessments, and Safe Work Procedures of all subcontractors for any lifting activities.
• Conduct routine checks and inspections on the work site to ensure compliance with authorities and client requirements.
• Daily walkabout around the site's assigned areas and note compliance and non-compliance to HSE operating procedure.

Requirements:

• Diploma | Degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in LTA | MRT Projects in Singapore
• Lifting certifications from Singapore is a must
• Able to work independently and in a team
• Must be in Singapore to attend face-to-face interviews
