Senior Planning Engineer ( Civil Infrastructure Project )

Responsibilities:

• Prepare baseline schedule which includes resources and cost loadings
• Develop and maintain project schedules in consultation with the project team
• Coordinate and obtain inputs from the project team, contractors, and suppliers to support the development of project programs
• Work on progress forecast and prepare rolling program
• Ensure material submission and approval
• Ensure project orders and deliveries are in accordance with agreed schedules
• Update, track and report project progress against the planned schedule
• Monitor and control progress to make sure that turnover and cost are in line with the master construction program
• Experience in Road Projects including all associated junction improvements and realignment/reconstruction of its associated slip and service roads.
• Experience in Design and Build of vehicular viaduct Project including ramps and other road bridge related works.
• Experience in managing Precast Fabrication Yard operation and construction of viaduct structure with Precast Segmental Method
• Coordination with clients and third parties to obtain permits for service diversion, land- use etc.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering
• Good understanding of construction industry practices and standards to perform planning and scheduling
• At least 4 years of experience in large-scale projects with hands-on experience doing planning and scheduling for civil infrastructure projects or building projects or both
• Candidates with more years of relevant experience may be considered for the Senior Planning Engineer role
• Proficient in planning software such as MS Office Packages, P6 Primavera and Autocad Packages
• Highly motivated, self-driven with initiatives to work independently to produce programs, narratives and histogramsMeticulous, eye for details, and a good team player
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
