We are seeking a dynamic Sales Executive to join our client's Imports & Exports team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute Strategies: Design and implement plans to meet targets for Sea and Air freight Imports & Exports in assigned segments and accounts.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Maintain accurate records of volumes, revenue, and growth, and conduct regular comparisons using market statistics to monitor market position.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and propose potential new trade lanes through in-depth market analysis to support overall growth objectives.
  • Key Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring exceptional service through agreed-upon SOPs, regular engagement, and value-added services.
  • Optimize Revenue and Costs: Monitor departmental expenses against revenue generation to ensure productivity and profitability.
  • Business Planning: Develop comprehensive annual business plans for assigned products, aligning activities with organizational goals.
  • Team Leadership: Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify training needs to motivate and develop team members.
  • Debt Management: Collaborate with debt collection teams to ensure timely payments while adhering to credit policies.
  • Networking: Represent the company at business councils and industry events to foster new connections and opportunities.
  • Additional Duties: Support management with tasks aligned to the role as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within the freight and logistics industry.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations such as Freight Forwarders Association standards, FIATA, and IATA regulations is a plus.
  • Strong command of written and spoken English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Possession of a valid driving license and personal vehicle.
