Job Description:

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Financial Strategy & Reporting to join our team. This individual will play a key role as a business manager, responsible for overseeing budgeting, planning, forecasting, and reporting to shareholders. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Head of School to manage the schools finances, ensuring efficient financial operations and strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the budgeting and financial planning processes for the school, ensuring alignment with the institution's goals and objectives.
• Oversee the forecasting process and provide accurate financial projections to guide decision-making.
• Develop and prepare comprehensive financial reports for shareholders, ensuring clear communication of the schools financial position.
• Collaborate with the Head of School to manage financial operations, providing insights and recommendations on improving financial performance.
• Ensure proper financial controls and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Communicate with shareholders and banks regarding financial matters, including fundraising efforts and securing financing.
• Prepare financial documentation for bank financing, ensuring that all necessary paperwork is in order.
• Work closely with senior leadership to align financial strategies with the overall mission and goals of the school.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in budgeting, financial planning, and reporting, preferably in an educational or similar sector.
• Strong knowledge of financial management and financing strategies.
• Experience with raising capital, fundraising, and communicating with stakeholders such as shareholders and financial institutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide actionable financial insights.
• High level of proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
