The Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Field Service & Technical Support Team Leader to oversee service operations across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. This role ensures top-quality service, customer satisfaction, and efficient resolution of technical issues. What You'll Be Doing
Field Service & Customer Support
- Lead and manage all field service activities across APAC, ensuring top-quality service delivery.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve service efficiency and customer experience.
- Manage and resolve technical escalations swiftly, maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Supervise senior engineers, providing technical guidance and support to both customers and internal teams.
- Own high-priority and complex service cases, ensuring effective resolution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners.
Technical Leadership & Team Development
- Lead a regional service team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Establish best practices and troubleshooting protocols for product-related issues.
- Act as the primary contact for critical technical concerns and escalations.
- Assess technical skills within the team and recommend training where needed.
- Train, mentor, and develop team members to enhance performance and knowledge-sharing.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelors degree or higher in Engineering, Technical Support, or a related field, with a focus on international standards.
- 5+ years of experience in field service and technical support leadership, preferably in a regional capacity.
- Background in HVAC, cooling systems, or refrigeration industries is a strong advantage.
- Expertise in reading and interpreting technical drawings, P&IDs, layouts, I/O diagrams, and thermodynamic specifications.
- Deep knowledge of thermodynamic, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with a hands-on problem-solving approach.
- Ability to handle complex projects and collaborate effectively with international clients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a multicultural mindset.
- Fluent in English; experience in an international working environment preferred.
- Prior expatriate experience and willingness to relocate.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the APAC region.
