Together, they deliver comprehensive third-party logistics services across Thailand and the CLMV region. Their core offerings include warehousing, distribution, freight forwarding, and value-added logistics solutions tailored to diverse industries.
Role Overview:
- We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager (Marine & Energy) to lead the growth of the Marine & Energy business cluster. This is a high-impact role ideal for a strategic thinker with a solid understanding of industry trends, regulatory landscapes, and stakeholder engagement. You will play a key role in identifying growth opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue generation across the sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the Marine & Energy cluster by analyzing historical data, current market trends, and competitor activity.
- Engage with key stakeholders including port authorities, customs, embassies, and industry partners to identify expansion opportunities and navigate regulatory requirements.
- Build and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities, ensuring alignment with the company's logistics offerings.
- Respond to client inquiries, prepare proposals, and manage the quotation and negotiation process.
- Lead the development of tenders and project proposals, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Monitor market dynamics and competitor strategies to inform business planning.
- Oversee participation in industry exhibitions and events to enhance brand visibility.
- Coordinate all marketing and promotional activities including the development of brochures, online content, and advertising materials.
- Support management in decision-making by preparing periodic marketing reports and business development insights.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support team and company goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the Marine & Energy sector.
- Proven ability to build and grow client portfolios and close new business deals.
- Strong understanding of the Marine & Energy market, including regulatory and operational factors.
- Experience handling tenders and complex proposals.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to develop strategic plans and conduct market research.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Self-driven, with strong organizational and time-management capabilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
