Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Executive (Cross Border) to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing professional support to sales and business development activities, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction, and coordinating with both local and overseas suppliers, as well as internal departments. You will be integral to managing shipment timelines, ensuring timely billing, and supporting sales efforts to increase the volume of customer quotations.
The role demands a proactive and organized individual capable of finding competitive freight costs, coordinating with vendors, and identifying new suppliers. This position offers opportunities to build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, contributing to the overall success of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Head of BD, CEO, and planning teams to align sales strategies with customer expectations.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with customers, overseas agents, truck owners, and suppliers.
- Regularly visit both new and existing clients, preparing weekly sales reports for management.
- Conduct market analysis and track competitors to identify opportunities for boosting sales, with a focus on CBT services.
- Support sales efforts for cross-border trucking services, assisting the sales team in developing competitive quotations.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain effective communication between internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Respond to customer inquiries, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
- Assist in preparing sales and marketing activity reports.
- Identify and target new customer accounts across all industries, managing key accounts and maintaining high service quality.
- Handle RFQs, RFPs, and RFIs, and provide recommendations to the operations team to enhance efficiency.
- Achieve sales targets and meet company budget objectives.
- Prepare monthly sales reports, including profit and loss statements for each customer, and support forecasting efforts.
- Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by the Line Director.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Economics, International Business, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a sales role (preferably within industrial or freight forwarding sectors).
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate smoothly with both local and international contacts.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Own car and a valid driving license.
