Role Overview:
- Oversee, manage, and be responsible for sales operations within the Sales and Marketing department.
- Have the authority to manage, make decisions, assign tasks, and ensure continuous improvements in sales and marketing efforts.
- Implement the policies set by senior management and take action to ensure the achievement of company goals.
- Set departmental management policies in alignment with the company's overall objectives.
- Develop work plans, budgets, and ensure successful execution to meet targets, including proposing investments or sourcing new products to add value to the company.
- Advise, consult, and collaborate with senior management and the sales and marketing teams, ensuring efficient management and reporting.
- Continuously improving work processes and the performance of staff within the department, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement systems for sales operations that align with the company's standards, enabling accurate reporting and system checks.
- Work closely with the Assistant Sales Manager and Marketing team to formulate sales strategies and market expansion plans.
- Define target customer groups for long-term sales planning, dividing sales territories effectively and identifying new sales representatives for each area.
- Plan and manage operating costs in line with company standards, ensuring sales staff are properly supported and operations are running smoothly.
- Oversee relationships with dealers and customers, providing support for sales activities, pricing structure, and sales agreements.
- Conduct regular visits to distributors, target customers, and key stakeholders to build relationships and support sales teams.
- Assess customer financial backgrounds, particularly in terms of credit and financial stability, working with the finance team to monitor payment obligations.
- Ensure all documents and approvals needed for sales processes are complete and properly submitted for management approval.
- Coordinate with financial institutions (leasing) to provide customers with purchase or leasing options.
- Regularly hold meetings to evaluate and improve the teams performance, address issues, and establish solutions.
- Provide regular sales performance reports and evaluate sales data to ensure targets and objectives are met.
- Regularly assess the performance of subordinates to ensure continuous professional development and to evaluate the impact of their contributions.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Business, or related fields.
- At least 10 years of experience in sales, with 5 years in sales management or related leadership roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel across provinces and hold a valid drivers license.
- Strong knowledge in sales strategies and marketing, with the ability to mentor and guide junior team members effectively.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to work in a collaborative environment, train staff, and encourage innovative solutions.
