Our client - a dynamic and innovative healthcare technology company that is transforming the way businesses manage their health benefits is looking for a Middle/Senior Full-Stack Application Developer to build and enhance cutting-edge solutions that improve healthcare accessibility and efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Build and maintain both web and mobile applications
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure applications align with the organizations goals, as well as customer needs
- Build-out, end to end entirely new applications or enhancement to existing applications based on provided architectural specifications
- Oversees the performance of the applications to ensure they are running properly
- Monitor cloud performance and troubleshoot anomalies
- Attend daily standups and be prepared to participate in discussions on current activities
- Build out solutions based on task assignments
- Monitor logs and dashboards to verify system integrity and operational performance
- Carry out regular security and performance checks
- Stay on track of the application lifecycle to ensure necessary updates are completed on time
- Effectively communicate status updates to staff in a timely manner
- Provide feedback on performance improvement or enhancement as identified
- Supports users by developing documentation and assistance tools
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
- Proficiency in React, NodeJS and/or TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Knowledge within ETL scripting such as GoLang, Python or similar
- Strong knowledge of backend development and relational database management (SQL/Postgres)
- Hands-on experience with AWS technologies (Lambda, EC2, RDS, S3, Transfer Family, CloudWatch, Cognito)
- Experience creating and managing CI/CD pipelines (GitLab is a plus)
- Demonstrated knowledge of Linux/Unix environments, Apache, Crontab
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and pods
- Working knowledge of infrastructure scripting such as Terraform
- Experienced in Git and issue tracking tools like Atlassian/Jira
- Extensive knowledge in using and writing RESTful APIs or requests to integrate various components and services
- Deep understanding of SDLC core programming principles
- Skilled in HTML, CSS and a JavaScript based language. Proficient in SQL
- Specialized training, certification or equivalent work experience preferred
- Degree from an accredited school in computer science or related preferred
