About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join the team with a passion for processing large quantities of data into actionable insights. Youll be part of a cross-functional team and work closely with the product and advertising team to support our tech initiatives.

As a data engineering expert, you should have robust technical skills in ETL data processing using SQL databases and containerized applications. You need the capacity to understand the specific data needs of the advertising industry.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Develop, test, monitor, and maintain data processing systems
• Use data visualization tools and reporting techniques to present data and report insights effectively
• Enable faster, better, data-informed decisions to enhance our advertising platform
• Discover opportunities for data acquisition and develop strategies
• Employ a variety of languages and tools to marry systems together
• Recommend ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality
• Participate in the full Agile development cycle including refinement and design sessions

Requirements:

• 10+ years of work experience
• Proven experience as a data engineer
• Natural curiosity of exploring and analyzing data
• Strong experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with common programming languages like C#, Java, Python, etc.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools like Grafana
• Experience with scalable backend applications
• Working knowledge of cloud services, Kubernetes, and Docker
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Background in the ad tech or media landscape is a plus
• English - Fluent
