This is an emerging UAV startup rapidly expanding to support Ukrainian national needs with advanced drone technology.
They believe there is a strong need for new technological solutions in the defense of free people in conflicts around the world. Their team includes experienced leaders from non-defense Silicon Valley startups who have seen this need first-hand and are committed to delivering.

The company is looking for a Radio Support Engineer who is eager to grow in a hands-on technical role, supporting real-world UAV operations and learning from experienced engineers.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to daily support team operations by communicating with end customers, providing technical guidance and recommendations in RF field
  • Participate in hardware service and repair activities in the lab using tools and RF equipment alongside senior RF engineers
  • Assist in communication between engineering teams and field users
  • Help troubleshoot technical issues in real-world environments
  • Participate in analyzing flight data and logs
  • Document issues, findings, and solutions clearly
  • Support coordination between US and UA teams

Requirements:

  • Basic technical background (student or graduate in CS, EE, aviation, radio engineering, or related field) or equivalent practical knowledge
  • Strong willingness to learn and develop hands-on skills
  • Interest in UAV/UAS systems and radio technologies
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset
  • Attention to detail and structured approach to tasks
  • English level: Intermediate or higher

 Nice to Have:

  • Basic understanding of RF systems or radio communications
  • Familiarity with UAV/UAS systems
  • Exposure to spectrum analysis or signal processing
  • Basic programming knowledge (e.g., C++ or Python)
  • Experience working with technical data or logs
