We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior IT Engineer to join us at Arsenault!

Your Role
- Design, code, test, and debug software based on the customers' requirements.
- Develop, maintain and support software programs/tools for internal and external for new and existing legacy products.
- Write and review technical documentations such as architecture documentation, design specifications and user guides.
- Designing, installing, troubleshooting hardware, software, security and networking systems.
- Manage day to day operations, system administration and maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the managed services projects.
- Provide emergency support for critical issues that arise affecting the running of the systems and networks.
Basic Requirements
- Minimum requirement of a bachelors degree in Software Engineering or a related discipline
- Ideally 6 months upwards of development experience in languages and framework like .NET, C#, Angular, HTML, CSS & JavaScript, Bootstrap, etc.
- Minimum 6 months upwards of system administration experience with Windows Server and Linux environments, and database
- Minimum 6 months upwards of networking experience with overall comprehension of communication protocols - TCP/IP, routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF), LAN, Wireless, VPN
- Experience in using Source Control Systems (GIT/SVN).
- Experience using JIRA, Confluence is desirable.
- Knowledge in developing application with MS SQL Server (Express, Standard and Enterprise) and MongoDB.
- Knowledge in Azure and/or AWS.
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes.
