Full Job Description

The Billing Analyst will be responsible for assiting with pre-bill audits across the enterprise.

  • Performs data entry of patient information as appropriate
  • Obtains pre-authorization from case managers, state and county billers as needed
  • May need to obtain timely information from field staff to assure accurate payment of claims
  • Assures appropriate communication with Authorization Department and corporate billers
  • Completes other assignments and duties as requested and assigned to accomplish the goals and objectives of the Company

  • Strong ability to be the public face of the organization, and serve as an advocate for Home Healthcare, Home Hospice and other service lines
  • Creative thinker who embraces thought leadership
  • High School degree is required and additional post-secondary education is preferred.
  • One Year of administrative support, or experience in business, healthcare clerical setting or training/education equivalent is required.
  • Any additional home care experience is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • Healthcare clerical: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Home health: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Hospice care: 1 year (Preferred)
