Full Job Description
The Billing Analyst will be responsible for assiting with pre-bill audits across the enterprise.
- Performs data entry of patient information as appropriate
- Obtains pre-authorization from case managers, state and county billers as needed
- May need to obtain timely information from field staff to assure accurate payment of claims
- Assures appropriate communication with Authorization Department and corporate billers
- Completes other assignments and duties as requested and assigned to accomplish the goals and objectives of the Company

- Appropriate judgment and critical thinking in decisions that requiring consideration of regulatory compliance, customer service, patient welfare and company interests
- Outstanding presentation, writing and communication skills
- Promotes the agency through positive representation and communication of its services
- Strong ability to be the public face of the organization, and serve as an advocate for Home Healthcare, Home Hospice and other service lines
- Creative thinker who embraces thought leadership
- High School degree is required and additional post-secondary education is preferred.
- One Year of administrative support, or experience in business, healthcare clerical setting or training/education equivalent is required.
- Any additional home care experience is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Experience:
- Healthcare clerical: 1 year (Preferred)
- Home health: 1 year (Preferred)
- Hospice care: 1 year (Preferred)
