Global IT Manager - MX (Hybrid)
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global IT Manager to join our world-class client’s team for a start-up operation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing our global IT operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of all IT systems and infrastructure. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities and a proven track record in managing IT operations across multiple locations.
Work Type: Hybrid (Based in MX w/ USA travels)
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
Minimum of 7-10 years of IT management experience, with at least 3 - 5 years in a global role.
7+ years’ experience in ERP (Microsoft Dynamics)
Preferably located in Mexico
Proven experience in managing global IT projects and leading diverse teams.
Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP) are a plus.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement the global IT strategy in alignment with business goals.
Identify and assess emerging technology trends to determine their potential impact on the organization.
Lead and manage a diverse global IT team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to team members.
Oversee daily operations of the global IT infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and efficiency.
Manage global IT budgets, resources, and vendor relationships.
Develop and enforce robust cybersecurity policies and procedures to protect digital assets.
Conduct regular security assessments and implement measures to mitigate risks.
Lead and manage global IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and support of IT initiatives.
Drive continuous improvement in IT processes, systems, and services.
Champion the adoption of innovative technologies to enhance operational efficiency and business performance.
Ensure compliance with relevant international laws, regulations, and standards.
Establish and maintain IT governance frameworks and best practices.
Serve as a key liaison between IT and other departments, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on IT performance and initiatives.
