We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Plant Supply Chain Manager to join a great team. This position is crucial in ensuring the provision of materials to meet the production plan according to the requirements of customers and the MRD, in terms of quality, quantity, time, and cost. The Plant Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the proper use and utilization of resources, coordinating purchasing, shipping, and logistics activities, including customs procedures, and most of all avoiding delays in delivery to customers. Additionally, the role involves maintaining close communication with production to keep adequate inventories for each product scheduled for weekly shipments.

Job Requirements and Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Industrial and Systems Engineering, Materials, Logistics, or a similar field.
- Master's degree in Logistics, Sustainable Industrial Systems, Material Sciences, etc., is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of Manager experience in a Supply Chain Manufacturing Leading function (Automotive Industry).
Experience & Knowledge:
- Extensive experience in forecast analysis and budget formulation.
- Availability to travel nationally and internationally.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Excellent skill set in excell and using ERP or other systems.
- Extensive knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement.
- Experience:
- Operations certifications with applicable standards
- Experience in Customer Service
- Experience in profit and loss analysis
Competencies:
- Proven leader in a teamwork environment, excellent People skills.
- Thorough knowledge of manufacturing processes, including operations planning, materials management, purchasing, freight management, and transportation management systems.
- An experienced practitioner of Lean Manufacturing, Process Control, and Continuous Improvement.
- Demonstrated management skills, particularly influence management, negotiations, and conflict resolution.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the warehouse team to maintain inventory reliability for raw materials and finished products with a high level of certainty.
- Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers and transportation companies.
- Determine and monitor the correct flow of materials in the plant.
- Interact with suppliers to effectively communicate metric compliance, performance feedback, and production forecast changes.
- Document supply chain processes, including flowcharts, times and movements, critical processes, and responsibilities.
- Plan customer demand for two firm weeks and a 12-week forecast.
- Ensure constant communication with customers to evaluate and timely notify changes to the production plan.
- Publish the weekly production schedule for the manufacturing group and different support groups (maintenance, tooling, tool crib, processes, etc.).
- Ensure the availability of raw materials for executing the production plan.
- Ensure the correct mix and quantities of purchased material to avoid excesses and obsolescence.
- Monitor SLOB (slow-moving and obsolete material) levels to avoid costs associated with material obsolescence.
- Coordinate the shipping department, planning, and customer service to meet on-time shipments and ensure on-time deliveries to the customer.
- Ensure traceability of raw materials from receipt to consumption on the production line.
- Coordinate the cyclical counting process to ensure inventory integrity and reliability.
- Select transportation routes to maximize efficiency by combining and consolidating routes, storage, and distribution.
- Maintain department metrics such as OTD, premium freight, inventory levels, inventory reliability levels (cyclical counts), PPV.
- Participate in the coordination of engineering changes, production monitoring, and shipment of service parts.
- Oversee the launch of new products to ensure the transition of materials and their flow in the new processes.
