NPI Process Engineer - Ciudad Juarez, Chih, MX
Our world-class client is looking for an NPI Process Engineer in Cd. Juarez, Chih. With strong experience in PLC.
This position specializes in optimizing product designs and manufacturing procedures, ensuring efficiency and smooth workflow. This person is responsible for the new product introduction processes and configuring PLC systems to reduce cost, improve sustainability and develop best practices within the production process.
Our client will only accept MX payroll and will give preference to local candidates.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronic Engineering
- 3 to 5 years of experience as an NPI Engineer o similar role.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry
- 3 to 5 years of experience in PLC programming, maintenance and set up.
- Vision system implementation and setup knowledge (either camera or sensor)
- Experience using servomotors, pneumatic cylinders, and electrically operated Valves.
- HMI (Keyence, preface, Mitsubishi, etc).
- knowledge of manufacturing processes, problem-solving tools (root cause failure analysis), and line balancing.
- MSA (CPK, GR&R)
- PFMEA
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing
- English Advance (This role with maintain communication with foreign peers).
Certifications / Training (Optional):
- Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing
- PFMEA, Control Plan, and Process Mapping
- SPC and DOE

Primarily Job Responsibilities:
- Transfer and /or work with equipment designers and manufacturing officers to develop a cost-effective and working production process.
- Develop working instructions, workmanship standards, and process documents,
- Maintain a reliable and safe manufacturing system while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs, and changeovers.
- Develop innovative solutions, and evaluate and improve processes in manufacturing systems.
- Improve process capability and production volume while maintaining and improving quality standards.
- Develop and implement systems that optimize all phases of the production process.
- Advise on corrective actions.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within financial budgets.
- Work with design engineering on DFX (Design for excellence).
