Job description
Our world-class client is expanding operations in El Paso, Texas, and is in need of various Process Technicians. They are granting a work permit in the USA.
General Responsibilities:
The Process Technician is responsible for overseeing the operation of injection molding machines to produce products that conform to part specifications, quality specifications, procedures, and standards. Set up molding equipment, process, and produce parts to specification throughout the shift.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics engineering.
- Passport-Laser Visa (required) -The company grants a work permit in the USA.
- 5 years experience as a Technician in plastic injection in cold and hot runner systems.
- Extensive experience in molding processes (min 5 yrs.).
- Must be familiar with resin, PVC, glass-filled polypropylene, ABS, and acetyl.
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Focused and goal oriented.
- Team player
- Bilingual: English/Spanish
Special requirements:
- Willing to work in 3rd. shift (full-time position)
- Due to the business nature, the person needs to work flexible schedules.
- The person will work the first 2 months in the 1st shift, and after completing the training will work the 3rd shift.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Interpretation of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic diagrams.
- Conversions from metric to standard.
- Scientific molding techniques.
- Machines from 20 to 1900 tons.
Responsibilities:
- Performs troubleshooting on injection molding machines according to product specifications, utilizing the molding machine and related peripherals.
- Assist in performing evaluations of new processing and ancillary equipment according to product specifications as needed, utilizing the applicable production peripherals.
- Assist in performing all tasks related to the tooling test list, utilizing the application production peripherals.
- Will assist in performing process analysis of problem moldings according to department requirements and specifications, utilizing the applicable production peripherals.
- Monitors molding machine systems interfacing for determining capability analysis, utilizing the applicable production peripherals.
- Performs pilot-gauging applications as required on the molding machines, utilizing the applicable production peripherals.
- Performs EOA tooling changes and robotics troubleshooting as required, utilizing the applicable production peripherals.
