Our world-class client in the automotive industry, located in Cd. Juarez is looking for a Manufacturing Superintendent (Molding and Die Cast).

This leader reports to a Manufacturing Manager and is responsible for supporting implementations according to continuous improvement activities and projects that will increase productivity and decrease waste and inefficiencies on the production floor, directing and supervising the production activities of the manufacturing group, and ensuring that any given production line output is performing according to engineering defined standard time, ensure production supervisors are monitoring hour by hour production and immediately reacting to any issue that could be prevented from reaching the hourly goal.

Our client will only accept MX payroll and will give preference to local candidates.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Quality, or Industrial Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience in the automotive industry
  • Experience in Molding and Die-Cast processes.
  • Lean Manufacturing expert
  • Experience operating an aluminum die-casting machine.
  • Must be willing to work any shift.
  • Die casting mold setup experience is a plus.
  • Forklift experience is a plus.
  • English Advance (Fully Professional expertise)

Certifications / Training:

  • Six Sigma Green Belt Certified (Preferred but not limited)
  • Lean Manufacturing Expert
  • PDCA Cycle knowledge
  • IATF knowledge
  • ISO 14001 Knowledge
  • VDA Knowledge
  • BIQ knowledge
  • PFMEA knowledge
  • Statistical Control Techniques

Primarily Job Responsibilities:

  • Direct and supervise the production activities of the manufacturing group.
  • Manage the manufacturing work schedule to ensure that products are delivered to schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
  • Manage communication with manufacturing supervisors and team leaders.
  • Setting employee work schedules and production goals; establishing work priorities and resolving problems to mitigate schedule/budget impacts.
  • Responsible to implement/support implementation accordingly for continuous improvement activities and projects that will increase productivity and decrease waste and inefficiencies on the production floor.
  • Recommends improvements of facilities, equipment, or procedures to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.
