WHS MANAGER

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Graduate of Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Business Management  or any business-related courses can be considered, with MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in Warehousing/ Supply Chain/ Logistics acquired in related industry with 5 years in Managerial capacity.
• Customer centric leader, preferably with network for service partnerships with 3PL providers.
• Must be a person of integrity, with empathy and self confidence to grow and develop a high performing team with passion and conviction

Job Summary:

1. Manages the Construction Warehouses and other warehouses to support Sales and Operations objectives.

2. Develops Warehousing programs, systems and standardized processes. Formulates proposals and recommends strategic alternatives to achieve constant operational readiness and sustainable high level of performance and customer satisfaction

3. Establishes, implements key Warehousing performance metrics and benchmarks. Evaluates past performance metrics for continuous improvement.

4. Optimizes use of Third Party Logistics service providers through collaborative relationships to improve Warehousing metrics in terms of cost and service

5. Keep abreast with developments, trends in the Supply Chain/ Logistics industry through networking and benchmarking.

6. Ensures that appropriate safety, health and environment practices are implemented and observed throughout the company to meet statutory and corporate standards.

7.SAP Byd warehouse inbound and outbound monitoring & processing.

8. Monitoring of all warehouse staff

Job Description

The Senior Warehouse & Logistics Manager is responsible for planning and developing strategy to lead and improve the distribution center / central warehouse operations and branches RDU and offsite warehouses.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Center / Central Warehouse Supervision

• Oversee the entire operations of the distribution center/central warehouse.
• Recommend cost-effective warehouse structure, lay-out or programs to improve operations.
• Manage and control SAP.
• Monitor and report any emergency or emerging logistical concerns to Management and recommend solutions.
• Review and recommend improvements on warehousing policies and procedures.

2. Shipping / Delivery Management

• Keep track of logistical costs and shipping prices and recommend options as needed.
• Review and update delivery processes as needed.

3. Supply Chain Activities Coordination

• Ensure that supply chain costs are within budget.
• Work with logistics service providers to ensure innovative and fast delivery processes.
• Monitor and ensure compliance of RDU/offsite warehouses on processes and procedures.

4. Stock / Inventory Control

• Plan and manage the inventory control.
• Analyze data and provide significant updates to Merchandising/Operations to resolve any stock/inventory issues.

5. Data and Administrative

• Validate and approve all warehouse-related documents.
• Implement and ensure compliance with 5S and other safety/security procedures.

SAP Tasks

Job Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, any field.
• Required skill(s): supply chain management, transportation and delivery of materials, inventory management and store operations procedure.
• At least 10 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably Managers specializing in Sales - Retail/General or equivalent.
• Willing to be assigned in our warehouse branches and other Luzon Projects

• Managed Operations End to End Process of Warehousing, Internal and External Relationship with Finance, Suppliers, Supply Chain, Vendors, Distribution Center, Custom,Transport & Inventory Control

 EDUCATION, TECHNICAL CAPABILITY AND CAREER

• Bachelors  Degree Engineering , Business Management or Accountancy
• At least 7-10 years experience in the same field
• Can execute KRA/KPI and Strategic Planning
• Keen on details
• Computer literate; preferably has experience on D365,SAP and ORACLE
• Good in oral and written communication
