JOB DESCRIPTION
1. ACCOUNTING MANAGER
The main task is to lead the accounting and reporting (Record to Report) domain to significantly improve the accuracy, quality, and timeliness of regional and local reporting. This involves performing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, which include posting transactions and journal entries, conducting account analysis, and reconciling entries and balances to ensure accuracy and reconciliation.
Following the reporting timetable, you will be responsible for producing timely and reliable financial reports and other related reports locally and regionally. You will also need to provide actionable management information reports and insights using variance analysis of forecast/budget.
An essential part of the role is keeping track of any changes in accounting standards, taxation, and other regulations that affect financials and ensuring compliance with statutory reporting requirements. Furthermore, you will need to identify areas for improvement to strengthen controls and ensure compliance with policies and internal controls, thereby supporting and developing a robust internal controls environment.
