Arkansas Talent Group is seeking a detail-oriented Temporary Administrative Assistant to support a respected media company in Little Rock, Arkansas. This role is ideal for an organized professional who enjoys working with information, maintaining accuracy across high-volume materials, and helping ensure content is prepared and released on schedule.
The Administrative Assistant will provide general office support while focusing primarily on data entry, formatting, proofreading, and posting information for publication. The right candidate will be comfortable working with deadlines, following established formatting standards, handling repetitive but important tasks with consistency, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure published materials are accurate and polished.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter, update, and maintain information within internal databases, spreadsheets, and publication systems.
- Format content, listings, announcements, and other materials according to established editorial or publication guidelines.
- Review materials for spelling, grammar, formatting consistency, missing information, and data-entry accuracy prior to release.
- Post approved information to designated publication platforms, websites, digital systems, or internal tools.
- Assist with organizing files, managing documents, and maintaining accurate records.
- Support general administrative functions, including responding to routine inquiries, preparing correspondence, and assisting with special projects.
- Coordinate with editorial, production, sales, and administrative team members to meet publication deadlines.
- Handle sensitive or proprietary information with professionalism and discretion.
- Perform other administrative and operational support duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous administrative, data-entry, publishing, communications, marketing-support, or office-support experience preferred.
- Strong typing, proofreading, and data-entry skills with a demonstrated commitment to accuracy.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience with content-management or publishing systems is a plus.
- Ability to format documents consistently and follow detailed instructions.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments in a deadline-driven environment.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Dependable, professional, and comfortable working independently on detailed, process-oriented tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional administrative, communications, or related education is a plus.
