The Human Resources Business Partner will serve as a trusted advisor to department leaders and managers, translating business priorities into effective workforce and talent solutions. This individual will bring sound judgment, a consultative mindset, and strong employee-relations expertise to help leaders navigate workforce challenges, develop high-performing teams, and create a consistent, values-driven employee experience.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with department leaders and managers on workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, talent development, and retention initiatives.
  • Align staffing strategies, people practices, and talent plans with business objectives and operational priorities.
  • Advise leaders on organizational structure, role clarity, staffing needs, workload distribution, team design, and departmental transitions.
  • Provide proactive, practical guidance on employee relations matters, performance management, attendance, corrective action, workplace concerns, investigations, and policy interpretation.
  • Coach managers on setting clear expectations, delivering meaningful feedback, resolving conflict, documenting performance concerns, and supporting employee development.
  • Identify workforce trends, employee-relations patterns, and emerging risks; recommend solutions that improve outcomes and the overall employee experience.
  • Analyze key HR metrics—including turnover, retention, engagement, absenteeism, staffing, and performance data—and turn findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Lead and support HR initiatives focused on manager capability, employee engagement, process improvement, communication, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Ensure HR policies, organizational values, and applicable employment requirements are applied consistently across supported departments.
  • Represent People Operations in departmental meetings, cross-functional workgroups, and operational planning discussions.
  • Serve as a collaborative and credible resource for leaders and employees at all levels of the organization.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
  • Six or more years of progressive human resources experience, including meaningful experience partnering with managers and department leaders in an HR Business Partner, HR Manager, Senior HR Generalist, or similarly consultative role.
  • Strong working knowledge of employee relations, performance management, workplace investigations, workforce planning, talent development, employee engagement, and HR compliance.
  • Proven ability to build trusted, productive relationships with leaders, managers, and employees across all levels of an organization.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to connect people strategies to operational goals and organizational priorities.
  • Experience using HR data and workforce metrics to identify trends, inform recommendations, and improve business outcomes.
  • Excellent coaching, communication, facilitation, conflict-resolution, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, influence outcomes, handle confidential information, and navigate sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or a comparable HR certification is preferred.
