Billing Clerk

Arkansas Talent Group is partnering with one of Arkansas's largest privately held companies to identify a Billing Clerk to join its accounting team at their Little Rock, AR headquarters.

This is a newly created position due to continued company growth, offering an excellent opportunity to join an established organization with opportunities for long-term career advancement.

We're looking for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Previous billing experience is not required! Candidates with customer service, retail, restaurant, or general office experience who are eager to learn and develop new skills are encouraged to apply.

What You Will Do:

• Review billing tickets against customer purchase orders to confirm accuracy before invoicing.
• Verify that the warehouse has processed tickets as required.
• Process customer invoices accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Research billing discrepancies and coordinate with sales and warehouse teams to resolve issues.
• Answer incoming calls, assist customers, and manage incoming correspondence.
• Run end-of-day reports.
• Provide coverage for teammates during absences and periods of increased workload.

What You Will Have:

• Previous billing or invoicing experience OR at least two years of customer service or general office experience
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn new systems; Excel experience is a plus.
• A dependable, positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn and receive feedback

Schedule and Month-End Expectations

• Monday–Friday, 7 a.m.–4 p.m. or 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
• Onsite at the company's Little Rock corporate headquarters.
• Mandatory overtime is required on the last day of each month to complete month-end billing.
