Arkansas Talent Group is working with a large client in the Financial Services Industry to help them find an Enterprise Risk Management Analyst for their organization in Little Rock. This is a fantastic role in the Little Rock market that will work closely with the C-Suite team and report directly to the CFO.

The Enterprise Risk Analyst plays a central role in organizing, overseeing, and executing the organizations risk management initiatives. This position is accountable for developing, maintaining, and refining comprehensive risk management frameworks and procedures. The analyst collaborates closely with management, risk-related committees, and auditors to ensure efficient oversight of audits, reviews, and compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designs, executes, and regularly updates risk management programs, which typically include areas such as model risk, third-party risk, cyber risk, fraud risk, and business continuity planning
  • Makes certain that all risk-related activities meet current regulatory expectations and internal policy requirements
  • Partners with colleagues across different departments to drive success in risk programs and initiatives
  • Authors and maintains detailed policies and workflow documents for assigned programs
  • Prepares and delivers risk management reports to stakeholders in accordance with protocols and reporting standards
  • Assesses, documents, and tests company-wide internal controls as they relate to financial reporting, operations, and regulatory compliance needs
  • Performs ongoing evaluations to ensure control environments are appropriately designed and functioning effectively for external attestation and regulatory
  • Supports agenda development and material preparation for audit, risk, and board meetings as required
  • Presents status updates and summary reports on audits, examinations, review projects, and corrective actions when needed
  • Recommends process improvements or escalations in response to findings from oversight activities

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business, preferably Accounting, Finance, or Economics
  • Minimum of 3+ years experience in Public Accounting, Internal Audit, or Risk Management
  • CPA, CIA or risk certifications highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of GAAP; knowledge of regulatory compliance standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data and present clear, actionable recommendations
