Staff Accountant/Bookkeeper

Arkansas Talent Group is working with a growing CPA and advisory firm to help them find a Staff Accountant to take ownership of client bookkeeping, payroll, and financial statement preparation. In this role, you will work with a variety of clients across different industries, giving you the chance to apply your skills in new ways every day. This is a great fit for someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable with technology, and ready to grow in a professional CPA firm environment

Role is onsite and may be located in Little Rock, AR, Batesville, AR, or West Plains, MO.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and payroll for multiple clients.
• Prepare accurate financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual).
• Reconcile accounts and ensure records are complete and correct.
• Communicate directly with clients to answer questions and provide support.
• Work with Accounting CS, QuickBooks, and other accounting software and adapt easily as tools evolve.

Qualifications:

• Accounting degree or at least 3+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience.
• Strong accounting fundamentals and attention to detail.
• Ability to learn and use different software systems with ease.
• Excellent organizational and client service skills.
• Someone who can balance multiple clients needs while keeping deadlines on track.
