Job Openings Operations Finance Associate / FP&A Analyst (Private Equity)

About the job Operations Finance Associate / FP&A Analyst (Private Equity)

Arkansas Talent Group is excited to exclusively partner with a prominent, Private Equity-backed Manufacturing portfolio formed through a series of strategic acquisitions, with active M&A and integration activity ongoing.

This position will sit in their corporate office in Little Rock and play a strategic role for the organization. It is a newly created position due to growth and will report directly to the SVP of Finance and also work on Special Projects for the CFO.

Analyst / Associate will be a critical liaison between the Operations and Finance functions. This is a rare opportunity for a high-performing professional coming out of investment banking, equity research, corporate finance, or private equity to step off the deal-execution treadmill and into a role with real operational impact — without losing the analytical rigor, board-level exposure, and fast pace that drew them to finance in the first place.

This individual will work directly with the C-Suite and Board of Directors, translating complex financial and operational data into the insights that drive strategic decisions across the business. It is a high-visibility seat with significant runway for growth into senior finance or operations leadership.

What You Will Do:

  • Serve as the primary bridge between Operations and Finance, ensuring alignment between field/operational performance and financial reporting
  • Build and manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes across business units
  • Support mergers, acquisitions, and integration efforts, including due diligence, financial modeling, and post-close reporting
  • Prepare polished, board-ready materials, presentations, and reporting packages for C-Suite and Board review
  • Design and maintain executive dashboards and KPI reporting to track operational and financial performance in real time
  • Lead cash management analysis and reporting to support liquidity and working capital decisions
  • Partner with IT and finance systems teams to improve reporting infrastructure, automation, and data integrity
  • Deliver ad hoc financial and operational analysis to support strategic initiatives and executive decision-making
  • Act as a trusted advisor and thought partner to senior leadership on business performance and growth opportunities

What You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA a plus
  • 2–5 years of experience in investment banking, equity research, corporate finance, private equity, or a related high-rigor financial analysis role
  • Advanced Excel modeling skills and strong command of PowerPoint for executive and board-level presentations
  • Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to present directly to senior executives and board members
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Perks:

  • Competitive Base Salary
  • Robust Bonus Program + Potential Future Equity
  • Strong total benefit package, including matching retirement plans, Unlimited PTO
  • Extreme growth opportunity with C-Suite and Board Exposure

This is a rare and exciting opportunity for the Little Rock market to be a part of something truly special!

POSITION WILL SIT IN LITTLE ROCK- only local candidates will be considered or candidates willing to relocate to the area.
