Arkansas Talent Group is working with a local dealership in Little Rock to help them find an Accounts Payable Specialist for their organization. This is a company that is a leader in the industry and in the state of Arkansas, with a dynamic team and prestigious history. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and process invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests for accuracy and compliance with company policies
  • Prepare and execute timely payment of vendor invoices through checks, ACH, or wire transfers
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions
  • Assist in month-end closing procedures and financial reporting
  • Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries and account status
  • Manage new vendor accounts and maintain existing vendor relationships
  • Assist in auditing invoices, bills and analyzing vendor accounts
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper coding and allocation of expenses

Qualifications

  • Professionalism: Ability to appropriately represent a company that prides itself on operational excellence through professional appearance and demeanor is required. 
  • Experience: Three+ years of relevant experience in an accounts payable role. Experience in dealerships, vehicle service or a similar industry would be a plus.
  • Schedule: This is a hourly, in-office position with hours from 7:30am to 5:30pm Monday-Friday.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience with database management and other office software.
