Arkansas Talent Group is partnering with one of Arkansas Largest Companies in the state to help them find a Senior Accountant that specializes in Revenue Recognition for their organization. Senior Accountant will report directly to the Accounting Manager and have a lot of communication with leaders all throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex revenue recognition calculations and analytics in accordance with GAAP
  • Prepare and analyze accounts receivable allowances and net revenue reports
  • Serve as a key liaison between Revenue Cycle and Accounting departments to ensure precise net revenue reporting
  • Develop and maintain allowances for miscellaneous accounts receivable, including all revenue streams
  • Oversee GAAP-compliant revenue recognition for grants, contributions, and other income sources
  • Support annual financial audits, focusing on accounts receivable and revenue areas
  • Lead special projects related to process improvement, financial reporting, and new program implementations
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior team members
  • Conduct technical accounting research on industry-specific topics

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required; Master's degree preferred
  • CPA certification highly desirable
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably 2+ in or public accounting
  • Strong knowledge of revenue recognition principles 
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial software systems
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
