Arkansas Talent Group's Executive Search Division is seeking a Strategic Chief Financial Officer to join our clients' family office, overseeing the financials for multiple businesses across diverse industries. This newly created role will be instrumental in scaling their operations and optimizing financial performance across their portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Financial Leadership

  • Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies to support growth across multiple business units
  • Provide financial insights and analysis to guide decision-making for each business entity
  • Identify synergies and opportunities for cross-business collaboration and cost optimization

Financial Planning and Analysis

  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for all business units
  • Implement robust financial systems and controls to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and identify areas for improvement

Investment and Risk Management

  • Manage the family office's investment portfolio, balancing risk and return
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies across all business operations
  • Evaluate potential acquisitions and new business opportunities

Scaling and Growth

  • Lead financial aspects of scaling initiatives for each business unit
  • Optimize capital allocation to support growth objectives
  • Develop financial models to assess and drive business expansion

Governance and Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations across all industries
  • Establish and maintain strong financial governance frameworks
  • Oversee tax planning and compliance for the family office and its businesses

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Accounting, Master's degree preferred; CPA highly desired
  • 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience in small to mid sized businesses, including CFO roles
  • Proven track record in managing finances for multiple business units or industries
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with financial modeling and forecasting
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Experience in M&A and capital raising preferred
