Arkansas Talent Group's Executive Search Division is seeking a SVP / VP of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) for a client in Little Rock. This is one of the fastest growing companies in Arkansas that is backed by one of the leading private equity firms in their Industry. They have a strategic vision to 2x the business in a short time frame through acquisitions and organic growth. This is a vital position for their organization that will report directly to the CFO and be strategically involved with the C-Suite Team and the Private Equity Group. We are seeking an FP&A Leader who has a strategic track record and background for excellent financial performance with a growing operation. FP&A Leader must have exceptionally strong communication skills to be the storyteller for Executives, the board, and all internal Departments Heads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning & Strategy Development
    • Spearhead the creation and refinement of comprehensive financial plans, budgets, and forecasts, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow projections, and debt planning.
    • Collaborate with operational and functional leaders to align financial strategies with business objectives and long-term growth initiatives.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting
    • Design and deliver detailed financial reports and presentations for executive leadership and board members, providing clear insights into performance metrics.
    • Analyze monthly results against budgets and prior-year performance to identify trends, opportunities, and areas requiring corrective action.
  • Strategic Decision Support
    • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress against strategic goals and value creation plans.
    • Build financial models to evaluate potential investments, new initiatives, and capital expenditures, offering data-driven recommendations to maximize returns.
  • Mergers & Acquisitions Support
    • Partner with the M&A team to evaluate acquisition opportunities, track synergies, and assess post-acquisition performance relative to projections.
    • Provide financial insights to support integration efforts and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Team Leadership & Development
    • Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing FP&A team capable of delivering impactful results across the organization.
    • Promote a collaborative culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement within the finance function.
  • Data Accuracy & Systems Optimization
    • Ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data by implementing robust processes and controls.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance reporting systems and improve data-driven decision-making capabilities.
  • Executive Support & Special Projects
    • Lead special projects for senior executives, such as analyzing financing options or evaluating strategic transactions.
    • Provide ad hoc analyses that offer actionable insights into key business challenges or opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration
  • MBA / CPA or CFA highly desired
  • 10+ years of FP&A Experience, 3+ in a Management Role
  • Heavy experience working closely with C-Suite, Board, and Private Equity
  • Experience with advanced financial systems, and advanced financial reporting tools
  • Strong business acumen and experience with a rapidly growing organization

Client heavily prefers this person to physically sit in Little Rock, or in the state of Arkansas, but is willing to potentially open it up to remote for the perfect candidate that is willing to travel to Little Rock heavily.
