Senior Staff Accountant-Hybrid

Arkansas Talent Group is searching for an experienced senior staff accountant for their mid-sized organization. The Senior Staff Accountant will handle general reconciliations, prepare financial statements and assist with month end activities. 

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Reports information to managers for use in controlling expenses.
• Compile and analyze financial information to prepare journal entries documenting business transactions related to each month-end close.
• Participate in preparation of monthly financial packages, year-end audit/annual report, and any additional reporting/analytical reviews requested by management.
• Maintain reconciliations for balance sheet accounts. 
• Complete assigned tasks as regular part of month end closing process in accordance with month end closing schedule.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree accounting is required
• Must be intermediate to advanced Excel
• 1-3+ years of experience, including general ledger and financial statement preparation.
