About the job Senior Software Engineer (Hybrid)
Arkansas Talent Group is partnering with an exciting FinTech Company in Little Rock, to help them find a Senior Software Engineer for their organization. This is a newly created position due to growth that will be pivotal in shaping the technical direction, driving innovation, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to create exceptional user experiences, while consistently adhering to best practices in design, development, and architecture.
What you will do:
- Develop and maintain both client-side (front-end) and server-side (back-end) code, leveraging technologies like JavaScript (ReactJS), Node.js, or similar
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code for web applications and APIs
- Ensure responsive, user-friendly interfaces on the front end and build efficient, well-documented server-side logic on the back end
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, ensure alignment with business goals, and deliver solutions that exceed client expectations
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior and mid-level engineers, helping them grow technically and professionally
- Continuously evaluate and improve existing systems, optimizing for performance, scalability, and maintainability
- Foster a culture of innovation, promoting the adoption of new technologies and best practices across the development team
- Play a key role in code reviews, ensuring high standards of code quality and technical excellence
- Act as a technical leader and contribute to strategic planning, risk management, and the overall success of projects
What you will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Masters degree preferred
- 5+ years of related IT Development and delivery experience
- Technology company experience, preferred
- Mastery-level experience in the following IT architecture and technology stacks (or equivalent)
- Full stack Development
- Mobile Web and Mobile Native
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript
- Azure Cloud
- UI/UX software enablement including frameworks and maintenance of said frameworks
- ReactJS and NodeJS
- Database & storage experience (PostgreSQL, Blob, Azure Storage Account, etc.)
- Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
