Controller/CFO Consultant- Accounting Services

Arkansas Talent Group is exclusively searching for a Controller/CFO Consultant. We are seeking an experienced accounting and finance professional to lead our client's accounting services division on a permanent basis. This role combines the strategic oversight of a CFO with the hands-on technical expertise of a Controller, serving as a key consultant to our client's diverse client base. 

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and review work of a 15-20-person team, including bookkeepers, staff accountants, seniors, and managers
• Review and sign off on client deliverables before presentation
• Lead client meetings to present financial statements and strategic insights
• Conduct strategic planning sessions with clients on processes and procedures
• Manage special projects including forecasting, budgeting, M&A analysis, and financial reporting
• Mentor and develop staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
• Ensure quality control and adherence to firm standards across all client engagements
• Collaborate with partners on firm strategy and growth initiatives

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of supervisory experience in accounting and finance
• CPA certification is strongly desired
• Proven track record managing large, multi-level teams
• Public accounting experience highly preferred, or equivalent industry experience
• Expertise in multi-entity bookkeeping in small to mid sized organizations, financial statement preparation, forecasting, financial analysis, budgeting, and strategic decision-making
• Strong client relationship management skills
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to problem-solving
