Senior Accounting Analyst (Construction)

Arkansas Talent Group is proudly working with a large Construction Company in Little Rock to find a Senior Accounting Analyst to join their company! This is a newly created position in their accounting department due to growth and will help in many facets of the business.

The Senior Accounting Analyst is responsible for managing and evaluating financial data, while championing initiatives that improve the accuracy and productivity of the finance and accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, fostering team growth, performance, and ongoing process refinement
• Proactively seek and implement improvements to financial procedures, systems, and internal controls
• Work cross-functionally with other teams to introduce operational efficiencies and process enhancements
• Explore and drive automation opportunities for data entry and reconciliation to reduce manual workload
• Identify and pursue strategies for cost reduction and improved budget management, integrating process optimization
• Assist with monthly financial closing tasks and ensure timely completion
• Prepare, review, and present financial reports and analysis to leadership

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Accounting / Preferably 2+ in a Supervisory Role
• Experience working in a large Corporate Accounting Team or in Construction is highly preferred
• In-depth understanding of accounts payable processes and best practices
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels
