Architectural Drafter/Designer

Arkansas Talent Group is working with our client, a residential and commercial construction company, to find a highly skilled and experienced Architectural Drafter/Designer to join their team based in North Little Rock. The ideal candidate will contribute to the preparation of accurate and high-quality drawings, plans, and schematics for a variety of commercial construction projects

Key Responsibilities:

1. Create comprehensive and detailed architectural and engineering drawings using AutoCAD software.
2. Collaborate with architects, designers, engineers, and project managers to develop plans that meet client specifications.
3. Revise and improve existing designs based on input from the team or client feedback.
4. Review field measurements and translate findings into accurate drawings.
5. Maintain orderly records of project files, designs, and related documentation.
6. Support the team in design and planning phases, offering innovative solutions when needed.

Requirements:

1. Must have proficiency in AutoCAD software.
2. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
3. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
4. Produce quality work in a timely manner.
5. A bachelors degree or certification in drafting, architecture, or a related field is preferred.
6. Knowledge of architectural and/or engineering principles.

Preferred Skills:

1. 2+ years of experience as a draftsman in a design, architectural or engineering firm.
2. Proficiency in BIM software.

1. Familiarity with zoning and building codes and permitting processes.
2. Experience with construction process and documentation.
3. Knowledge in ensuring compliance with local codes and regulation.

• Comp: $45,000-55,000 Strong market base pay with bonus opportunities and additional allowance for health, dental and vision insurance
