Accounts Receivable Specialist/Staff Accountant

Arkansas Talent Group is searching for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist/Staff Accountant to join our client's accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts receivable processes and a proven ability to manage financial transactions efficiently. An accounting degree is preferred, but candidates with at least five years of relevant experience in accounts receivable will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Payment Processing: Manage and record incoming payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial policies.
• Invoicing: Prepare and send out invoices according to company practices, and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts receivable ledgers to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
• Customer Interaction: Communicate with clients to resolve billing issues, provide invoice copies, and facilitate payment plans if necessary.
• Financial Reporting: Generate financial statements and reports detailing the status of accounts receivable.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to the accounts receivable process to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to national and local financial regulations and maintain confidentiality in all financial matters.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred, but not required. 
• Experience: Minimum of five years of experience in accounts receivable or a related financial role if no degree.
