Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Arkansas Talent Group's Executive Search Division is partnering with a Services Based Company in Conway, Arkansas that specializes in Construction, Service, and Logistics to find their next CEO of their organization.

This is a mid-size family owned company in Conway, Arkansas in the Service Industry that has been around for decades with a well-known reputation and trustworthy brand. They pride themselves on delivering exceptional service and building strong relationships that have carried on for years. The company is financially well positioned and going through growth.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the organization, providing strategic leadership, and ensuring the company meets its financial and operational goals. The CEO will also manage the sales team and oversee all national accounts, driving growth and enhancing the company's market position.

The CEO is stepping into a wonderful situation where they will have 6 Direct Reports and a top-notch CFO and Sales Team. The exiting CEO will also be staying on the board, so there will be great support for the CEO from the beginning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement business strategies to achieve the company's goals and objectives.
• Operational Oversight: Ensure efficient operations across all departments, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
• Sales Management: Lead and manage the sales team, setting targets and ensuring the achievement of sales objectives.
• National Accounts Management: Oversee relationships with national accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
• Financial Management: Monitor financial performance and ensure the company operates within budget while maximizing profitability. Company has a highly talented CFO that this person will be able to rely on for accurate accounting and financial data
• Team Development: Build and lead a high-performance team, promoting professional development and a positive workplace culture.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with all parties, including employees, clients, owner, and board members, to promote transparency and collaboration.

Qualifications:

• 15+ Years of experience in a Leadership role in the Logistics, Construction, Distribution Industry
• Preferably CEO experience, but client is open to a strong leader at the VP or C-Suite Level who is ready to take the next step in their career
• Sales Management experience is a required, as CEO will run and lead the sales team across the country
• Proven track record of leadership experience and driving the bottom line
• Strong understanding of business functions such as sales, marketing, operations, and finance.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a track record of building and leading effective teams.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a results-oriented approach.

This is a rare opportunity in Central Arkansas to run and operate a well-established family own business that is running well and is ripe for more growth. The organization is very laid back and has amazing tenure in the company. The position will have a lot of autonomy and Independence and will be tasked with running the organization.

Compensation will include a nice base salary, strong bonus opportunity tied to percentage of profit, very nice benefit package for entire family, above market retirement plan match, and ample PTO.

The client also offers nice offices in Conway, AR. CEO MUST be in office, so this position REQUIRES the candidate to live in Central Arkansas. Client will consider candidates that are local to the area as a first priority in the search. Some travel will be required in this job as well.
