About the job HR Director
Arkansas Talent Group is exclusively working with a local non-profit for an experienced Human Resources Director to lead their organization's HR department. Seeking candidates with a strong background in HR management in nonprofit, government, healthcare, or public utility sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Oversee all HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee relations
- Manage compensation and benefits programs
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
- Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning and decision-making
- Lead diversity and inclusion initiatives
- Develop and manage the HR department budget
- Implement and maintain HR information systems
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 8-10 years of HR management experience
- Experience in nonprofit, government, or public utility sectors highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification
- Experience with 400+ employees
- Local Central Ar candidates will take preference
