About the job HR Director

Arkansas Talent Group is exclusively working with a local non-profit for an experienced Human Resources Director to lead their organization's HR department. Seeking candidates with a strong background in HR management in nonprofit, government, healthcare, or public utility sectors.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals
  • Oversee all HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee relations
  • Manage compensation and benefits programs
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning and decision-making
  • Lead diversity and inclusion initiatives
  • Develop and manage the HR department budget
  • Implement and maintain HR information systems

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of HR management experience
  • Experience in nonprofit, government, or public utility sectors highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification
  • Experience with 400+ employees
  • Local Central Ar candidates will take preference
