About the job Executive/Research Administrative Assistant
Arkansas Talent Group is partnering with a well-known lobbyist in the State to help him expand his business by hiring an Executive/Research Administrative Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to work for an individual with a stellar reputation and help him grow. This is a hybrid position with the hours primarily between 9-4 pm and flexible PTO.
Executive/Administrative Support:
- Manage CEOs complex calendar, including scheduling, prioritizing, and coordinating internal/external meetings.
- Coordinate domestic and international travel logistics and itineraries.
- Handle confidential correspondence, communications, and document preparation.
- Ensure CEO is fully briefed and prepared ahead of meetings, presentations, and events.
- Draft agendas, prepare meeting material, and track follow-up actions to completion.
Business Development & Research
- Conduct research across multiple industries to prepare summaries, briefs, and recommendations for the CEO.
- Identify and research grant funding opportunities aligned with company initiatives.
- Support back-end business development activities, including prospect research, partner outreach prep, and meeting participation.
- Sit in on strategy and development meetings, capture detailed notes, and track deliverables.
- Provide insights and competitive analysis to inform decision-making and new growth opportunities.
Operational & Strategic Support
- Maintain a structured system to ensure CEOs priorities are aligned and deadlines are met.
- Act as the bridge between CEO and internal/external stakeholders, managing communications with professionalism and discretion.
- Anticipate needs and proactively problem-solve in a rapidly changing work environment.
- Support special projects, research assignments, and cross-functional initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- 3+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant or Chief of Staff supporting C-level leadership.
- Heavy research and analytical skills.
- Someone strongly preferred to have some political/gov't/lobbyist experience.
- Experience researching grants preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with exacting attention to detail.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven track record conducting in-depth research and synthesizing findings for executive decision-making.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with changing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and project management tools.
- High level of discretion, confidentiality, and professional judgment.
