Arkansas Talent Group is partnering with a growing manufacturing company to find a Plant Human Resources Generalist/Manager in the Fayetteville, AR area. This is a hands-on HR role where you'll partner closely with plant leadership to build a positive culture, support employees, ensure compliance, and help drive operational success.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the primary HR leader for two plants, supporting employees and management across all HR functions.
  • Lead full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and workforce planning to ensure staffing needs are met.
  • Build strong employee relationships by handling employee relations, conflict resolution, coaching, and engagement initiatives.
  • Partner with supervisors on performance management, employee development, and succession planning.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices.
  • Administer payroll through Paycom, including audits, timekeeping, pay changes, and employee inquiries.
  • Manage leave administration, workers' compensation claims, and employee benefits questions.
  • Collaborate with plant leadership and safety teams to promote a safe workplace and assist with incident investigations.
  • Track and analyze HR metrics, including turnover, absenteeism, and training, to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and represent HR in interactions with corporate leadership and outside agencies.
  • Occasional same-day travel (approximately once per month) is required.

What You'll Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Experience with employee relations, recruiting, compliance, payroll, and performance management.
  • Experience with Paycom or another HRIS/payroll system is preferred.
  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or other HR certification is a plus.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use HR data to drive decisions.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to handle employee relations and conflict resolution.
  • Organized, collaborative, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
