About the job Learning Management Coordinator
A leading consultant firm in the region - one of the Big Four - is seeking a Learning Management Coordinator for a Digital Hospitality Education Program Giga Project in Saudi Arabia. This position requires an experienced and efficient learning professional who is well-versed in the Hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively manage a group of up to 50 learners including multiple stakeholders.
The role focuses on coordination duties of the program initiatives and activities of the learners in a digital and virtual academy environment along with elements of online and in-person interactions. They are keen to try new and innovative methods and bring a new perspective of hospitality to young Saudi learners.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Administration
- Coordinate the program covering all aspects of the learning pathway between key stakeholders learners and facilitators
- Organize program delivery logistics
- Provide administrative support to the learning facilitator
- Respond to all learner requests and concerns
- Assist in the enforcement of program rules and regulations
- Ensure a high level of confidentiality and data privacy
Reporting
- Maintain learning records and documentation as specified during the program
- Maintain a meeting schedule with learners and program stakeholders
- Utilize Student Information Software or other data management tools to update learner records
Stakeholder Management
- Attend meetings with program management team, facilitators, and other relevant teams
- Schedule regular check-in meetings with learners
- Liaise with partner hotels and hotel management to receive a regular update during work immersion
- Respond in-time to parents requests and concerns throughout the program
Counselling and support (during learning journey and work immersion)
- Be the main point of contact for their cohort of learners
- Record all learner grievances and communicate to relevant teams for sufficient resolution
- Maintain open communication channels, and foster a sense of collaboration
- Collect regular feedback and provide constructive feedback for professional development
- Act as a coach for learners, build psychological safety and trust with each learner
QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality management, tourism, or related field.
- Train the Trainer Certification by Hotel Operator or Certified body.
- Coaching skills Certification by Hotel Operator or Certified body.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Software.
- Minimum 3 4 years experience in a supervisory / executive role in learning and / or HR function, or an industry related to hospitality.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Hotel Industry Knowledge - maintain an adequate knowledge of the hotel industry, operating departments, and general standards.
- Technology - comfortable in navigating and utilizing virtual environments and platforms commonly used in the metaverse
- Able to use or acquire knowledge and application of digital tools and technologies
- Ability to handle tools such as student Information Systems and databases.
- Ability to navigate and utilize Web3
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and project management skills
- Able to conduct effective coaching conversations and provide constructive feedback.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Second language of Arabic is preferred
