We are seeking a dynamic and experienced MYP Coordinator to lead and enhance the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (IB MYP) at our prestigious international school. As the MYP Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the academic experience of students aged 11-16, ensuring the highest standards of IB curriculum implementation. You will work closely with faculty, school leadership, students, and the wider IB community to drive innovation, uphold best practices, and support ongoing school development. Key Responsibilities

• Leadership & Programme Oversight: Lead the implementation and continuous development of the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP), ensuring alignment with IB standards and best practices.
• Curriculum Development: Collaborate with school leadership and faculty to refine curriculum delivery, assessment strategies, and student learning outcomes.
• Faculty Development: Mentor, guide, and provide professional development opportunities for MYP educators, fostering a culture of excellence in teaching and learning.
• IB Authorization & Evaluation: Oversee MYP authorization, accreditation, and evaluation processes, ensuring compliance with IB requirements and strategic improvement.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with students, parents, staff, and the broader IB community, advocating for the MYP and enhancing the school's academic reputation.
• Innovative Learning Environments: Promote an inclusive, values-driven educational experience, integrating inquiry-based learning, interdisciplinary approaches, and real-world applications.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

• Bachelors degree in a relevant teaching field (Masters degree preferred).
• Fully qualified teacher with appropriate teaching certification (e.g., B.Ed or equivalent).
• IB MYP training and certification (preferred but not mandatory).
• Experience as an MYP Coordinator or in a similar academic leadership role.
• Proven experience teaching within the IB MYP framework in an international school setting.

Preferred:

• Familiarity with IB MYP authorization, evaluation, and curriculum review processes.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to support school-wide curriculum initiatives.
• A passion for inquiry-based learning and interdisciplinary teaching.
